No. A diamond that fluoresces has the same integrity as one with no reaction to UV. Fluorescence neither weakens nor is bad for the diamond.

This may vary depending on the volatility of the market, but it is usually recommended that you have your jewellery appraised every five years.

How do I know if my watch is waterproof?

All seals must be to the correct specifications. It must have a screwed down crown, screwed down pushers and a screwed case back.



Is my watch still waterproof after a battery replacement?

Whether your watch is water resistant or waterproof will depend on the bar pressure and the condition of the seals and gaskets. We highly recommend a water test be done.

Why does white gold fade to a light shade of yellow?

Seeing that gold only exists in yellow color, the alloy process is what transforms it to white gold. All white gold has to be finished with a rhodium plating to give its shine. In order to maintain its luster, it is necessary to have it polished and re-rhodiumed occasionally depending on the wear and tear.
